Private Sector Employers Must Provide Workforce Data to EEOC by March 31, 2018

Private sector employers must file their 2017 Employer Information Report (EEO-1) by March 31, 2018.

Covered Employees. All private employers with 100 or more employees and federal government contractors or first-tier subcontractors with 50 or more employees and a contract/subcontract of $50,000.

Information Required
The EEO-1 collects race, ethnicity and gender data by job category. The data used to complete the EEO-1 should be selected from a payroll period in October, November or December of calendar year 2017.

Employers who meet the criteria listed above, or employers that filed the EEO-1 report in 2016 and have not received the 2017 EEO-1 Notification Letter by January 29, 2018, should imme¬diately contact the EEO-1 Joint Reporting Committee at 1-877-392-4647 (toll-free) or by e-mailing e1.techassistance@eeoc.gov.
