Arizona Paid Sick Leave

Arizona becomes the sixth state to enact legislation requiring employers to provide certain employees with earned paid sick time effective July 1, 2017.

Arizona employers must provide employees, either in or on an attachment to the employee's paycheck, the amount of earned paid sick time available to the employee; the amount of earned paid sick time taken by the employee to date in the year; and the amount of pay the employee has received as earned paid sick time.

Your legal counsel can advise you as to whether your company's existing sick leave or paid time off (PTO) policy meets the Arizona requirements.

To ensure that ADP has sufficient time to assist you in meeting your needs by July 1, 2017, please submit your request before June 1, 2017.
