Why use ADP's Direct Mail service this Year-End?

When you purchase Direct Mail service, ADP will mail Year-End Forms W-2/1099 directly to continental United States employees, helping you save time during this busy season.

Direct mail costs $45 base plus $1.18 per document mailed.* These charges are in addition to standard year end charges.

*Note: Direct Mail is not offered to clients who have terminated services with ADP. If you terminated services with ADP earlier in the year or terminate during the year-end period, we will not be able to provide you with Direct Mail services.

Direct Mail service applies only to employees living in the continental United States. If you have any employees with a foreign address, the Form W-2/1099 will be sent to your Employer Legal address.

Employees will also have electronic visibility via iPay to print their own Forms W-2/1099, and you as an Employer will have visibility of these documents via iReports.

When/how do I request Direct Mail service?

Your company code(s) have already been placed on a Print Hold to avoid ADP from releasing your Form W-2/1099s after your last 2021 payroll.

Partner with your aligned Payroll Specialist and when you have completed your adjustments and are ready for ADP to print the forms, engage with your aligned Payroll Specialist who will release your Form W-2/1099s on your behalf.

The deadline to release is Jan. 19, 2022.
