Did You Know You Can Access ADP SmartCompliance® via ADP Workforce Now?
ADP smart compliance is a one stop location to manage Tax, Compliance, and Payment products and services that is available to all ADP Tax Filing Service and Total Pay Clients.
To access SmartCompliance, log onto ADP Workforce Now and select Reports > Tax & Banking > ADP SmartCompliance.
It is important to pay close attention to the “Things to Do” section on the Home page as these are actionable items in red related to tax profiles and agency notices.
The new Tax Filing application (select Process > Employment Tax > Tax Filing), provides a consolidated view of your company's profile errors and employee quarter-exceptions which can result in agency notices; amendments; and penalty and interest when not addressed.
To access Quarterly and Annual Statements of Deposit, select Reports > Tax & Banking > Statement of Deposit on the ADP Workforce Now main menu.
IRS forms 940, 941 Filings, and State / Local Filing forms are available under Reports > Tax & Banking > Company Tax Documents.
One Platform, Many Capabilities
Add state or local jurisdictions to your company's tax profile! In ADP Workforce Now, click Setup > Tools > Validation Tables > State or Local Tax Jurisdictions.
You can also:
· Upload notices received from tax agencies and view responses provided on your behalf.
· View the status of amendments and updates from ADP’s compliance professionals.
Access and Manage Compliance When You Need It
You can access employment tax reports, upload agency notices, update your SUI rate, and handle all your check management in one module.
The Help Center, found in the upper right corner of the toolbar provides guidance on common tasks available in smart compliance:

You can view knowledge articles pertaining to SmartCompliance found in the Workforce Now Service Portal. You can get there in ADP Workforce Now by selecting Need Help? > Contact ADP Support > in the Search Bar type in the key words Smart Compliance.
