Updates to ADP Workforce Now® V2.0

Author: Jody Rodney/Thursday, October 20, 2016/Categories: Product Updates

Based on feedback from clients like you, we’re improving the process for retrieving user IDs or resetting passwords. These changes will take place on the ADP Workforce Now V2.0 website (https://portal.adp.com/public/index.htm) and will redirect to (https://online.adp.com/portal/login.html) beginning October 22, 2016.  Please update any bookmarks you may have.

ADP is pleased to announce a contemporary new look for the logon page on October 22, 2016. You will see this new user-friendly upon login. You will notice that links are grouped for registered users and first-time user for quick and easy access.  Note that the basic functionality of the logon page remains the same; only the design was changed.

Our new Fast Track feature enables users to retrieve their user ID and reset their password in a faster and more efficient manner. Once they provide identity data such as name and email, users will be shown their user ID. They will then be sent a one-time-use security code to their mobile phone or email inbox. After entering the security code online, they will be able to reset their password immediately.

Benefits are:

·         No need to remember user IDs to reset password

·         No need to answer security questions

To take advantage of the new Fast Track feature, users must:

1.       Validate and update (if necessary) their email addresses and/or phone numbers by logging in to  Workforce Now V2.0. To receive a security code, a user must have an email or phone number that is unique within your organization (that is, not shared with other people).

2.     Ensure their devices are running Microsoft® Internet Explorer® version 10 or higher, or the latest version of Google Chrome™, Mozilla® FireFox® or Apple® Safari®.

Should users not meet these requirements, they will not be adversely affected. They can continue to use the current registration flow and security question and answer process to reset their passwords.

The Fast Track and Registration Quick Reference Cards located at the links below (as well on the ADP Support Center) explain these changes and requirements in more detail. Please review and share with your users.
