We are always working to provide you a better client experience. We are pleased to announce the following enhancements to ADP® Workforce Now® (WFN) effective October 7, 2017.

Release Highlights

Benefits – Medical Plans can now include Tobacco User Surcharges.  The Medical Plan Rate Options step now includes an Enrollment- Level Premium option to allow a practitioner to add the employee’s and employer‘s plan costs at the time of enrollment. Practitioners can now access Waive Information in the Open Enrollment Center for a list of employees who waived their coverage for a plan type along with the waive reason they selected. You can now reactivate an enrollment that was inappropriately terminated so the history remains continuous.  And, spouse or domestic partner is automatically selected for Manual or Marital Status Change Divorce COBRA Event.  Also, within COBRA, we’ve renamed the ‘Loss of Coverage Date’ to ‘Qualifying Event Date’, since the loss of coverage date can be different.  Beneficiary information has been added to the Employee and Dependent Enrollments Report so you will now have this option when running the report.  To help you avoid any accidental removals of coverage levels, WFN will now prevent the deletion of disability coverage levels once enrollments exist in an effort to retain data integrity and functionality.

DataCloud – Analytics/Insights – Turnover Probability Explorer is the first Predictive Explorer in Benchmarks.  It helps identify the likelihood of future voluntary turnover and provides details by company, location, job, or Manager and Employee.

HR/Talent – For HR, Practitioners will be able to easily search for archived employees by Tax ID.  In Recruitment, Practitioners will be able to view an applicant’s decline to consent to background screening on a PDF.  For clients with Compensation Dashboard, Practitioners will be able to delete a compensation event that has not yet reached the state of “Ready for Payroll Processing”, which will help with removing test events.

Payroll – Paydata Grid Redesign is an exciting refresh to the current Paydata Batch and Grid to address pain points identified by you. You can now enter and maintain up to 99 liens per employee position. All liens will be included in the applicable output reports and will also be available for Employee Import.  New Grouping and Sorting Options are now available on the Real-Time Preview Labor Distribution Report.  Employees can now use our convenient online forms to enter their federal and state tax withholdings.

Time Off – Enhancements were made to the Time Off Policy setup and configuration allowing for prorated award amounts on one-time award rules, Annual Award Maximum on a recurring award rule, and Time Off policies based on hours worked.

User Experience Improvements
ACA – Several changes were made to the ACA Trending Dashboard to improve functionality and user experience, provide hyperlinks to employees’ ACA Benefits Status Section and the ACA Benefits Offerings screen, change the display order of the most important information, such as showing affordability information first without scrolling, and allow for the download of employee lists into Excel.  The ACA Benefits Status Screen was revamped to show information in a more user-friendly format. ADP will roll out the revamped ACA Benefit Screen in waves between 10/7 and 10/28.

Administration/Document Cloud – When uploading image files for page content (Your Name > Configuration > Page), the remaining storage space is now displayed with two decimal places allowing for better upload planning.  The Company Policy Acknowledgement Status Report was enhanced so Practitioners can view the acknowledgement status of all policies (Active/Inactive/Hidden). Document Cloud changes were made to improve user experience.

DataCloud – Reporting – In Standard Reports, additional fields were added to the Skills Report, Employee and Dependent Enrollments Report, Employee Profile Report, Benefit Plan Summary Report, and Employee Enrollments Report.  A new Waive Reasons Sample report was also created.

Time and Attendance – Modifications were made to address and comply with California and Puerto Rico Meal Penalty regulations.  Employees can now view real-time schedule and accrual balance information from InTouch Timeclocks. Enhancements to add additional viewable data and options were made to the following pages:  Employee My Schedule, My Timecard, and Individual Timecards.

A pop-up will appear in WFN on the first login on October 7, 2017, with a link to Support Center where the What’s New for ADP Workforce Now document is presented.  The What’s New document includes screenshots and descriptions of the new enhancements.  Please be sure to thoroughly review this document.
