ADP® Workforce Now® (WFN) Enhancements

At ADP® we love getting feedback from clients like you and using it to continually make your experience better.  That’s why we are pleased to announce the following enhancements to ADP® Workforce Now® (WFN) effective November 11, 2017.

Release Highlights

Payroll – Ever wish you could schedule a payroll adjustment after the quarter closed without contacting ADP?  Now you can!  Using the new Previous Quarter Adjustment enhancement in ADP Workforce Now, you can now schedule these payroll adjustments without picking up the phone!  There will be a new pre-defined schedule tile called Previous Quarter Adjustment, which will help reduce input errors. The tile will be accessible during a defined timeframe. Example, starting January 1, 2018, you will be able to schedule adjustments for fourth quarter 2017.  In addition, this enhancement will improve compliance by capturing the Adjustment Reasons when applicable. This enhancement will help ensure more efficient processing of any adjustments, including those required after year-end processing.  If you have Comprehensive Payroll, you will continue to request your Previous Quarter Adjustment payroll the same way that you do today.

User Experience Improvements

ACA – Revamped ACA Benefit Status screen will be completely rolled out with the October patch.  The screen was updated to:

o    Show information in a more user-friendly format including Total Hours of Service.

o    Display hours detail of all payroll periods used to calculate ACA status for a measurement period.

Compensation Dashboard – You can now select multiple performance plans (that use the same rating scale) to be in a single Compensation Event instead of creating one event for every performance plan.

Performance Dashboard – Several improvements were made to the Performance Dashboard.

o    Managers will now have the ability to assign and distribute New Hire Reviews, Disciplinary Notices, and Performance Improvement Plans, if given access by a Practitioner (under Review Plan Milestones).

o    There will now be greater flexibility in scheduling annual and new hire reviews around various service dates. Last review date, last salary effective date, position start date, and hire/rehire dates are now all supported.

o    Practitioners can now customize the annual review form to decide which questions apply to managers vs. employees.  They can also choose to only have the Reviewer use a rating scale.

A pop-up will appear in WFN on the first login on November 11, 2017, with a link to Support Center where the What’s New for ADP Workforce Now document is presented.  The What’s New document includes screenshots and descriptions of the new enhancements.  Please be sure to thoroughly review this document.
