Issuing Personal Registration Codes (PRC)
Included in the September 26, 2020 release, the ability of sending personal registration codes (PRC's) via Setup > Security > Security Management will be removed as part of the steps required for the TCPA compliance. (Telephone Consumer Protection Act). You will be able to continue issuing PRC’s via email and on screen.
Important: Employees can still use a mobile phone number during the self-service registration process for the areas noted below:
· Find Me (codeless registration)
- Employees can begin registration by doing a lookup with their mobile number. They can complete the flow if there is a match found and they can prove their identity by getting a one-time passcode on that mobile number.
- The employee can also begin registration with a lookup using First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth and SSN or Employee ID. Once a match is found they can prove their identity by getting a one-time passcode on their mobile phone.
Use mobile phone for additional validation if needed during the ORC flow (Organization Registration Code).
