Arkansas voters have approved a law that will increase the minimum wage in three stages beginning January 1, 2019.
The minimum wage will increase to:
- $9.25 per hour on January 1, 2019.
- $10.00 per hour on January 1, 2020.
- $11.00 per hour on January 1, 2021.
The state’s minimum wage applies to all employers with four or more employees. Employers with fewer than four employees will generally be required to pay the federal minimum wage (currently $7.25 per hour).
Call to Action:
Arkansas employers with four or more employees must comply with the new minimum wage and post an updated minimum wage poster.
